Testing out glow particles effect. (Sonic) -Finished Product-
Just as the title explains it.
before updated
Again, credits goes to Sky for resource pack.
I really just want to know if the glow particles are good or not, if you wanna CnC or rate about anything else be my guest.
No words, don't really feel like getting lectured for putting in crappy words.
P.S, project is complete, no further changes shall be made.
I will not edit the glow for the body, that is unless you want a half green sonic.

Re: Testing out glow particles effect. (Sonic) -Finished Product-
The glow on his right hand is too strong, leaving me it looking like it has no shape or form since I can only see the outline. You should tidy that up so the lines which form the fingers, etc... can be seen.
Highlights and shadows on the body don't interact with the glowing. Are they separate entities or in different spacial dimensions which act independently?
I don't see how the background works with the subject matter. Is he standing in mid-air, or...?
I do like the fact that you have the lines directing my eyes onto the subject matter.
I don't understand the necessity of those faded lines on the bottom-left corner or why it's there in the first place.
Instead of glowing lines and glowing everything like what others do, maybe you should consider being more creative and develop a different style, your own style?
Overall: 7/10
Creativity: 3/10
Style: 4/10
Appeal: 4/10
Hope you improve in the future and develop your own distinct style.

You've squished the background lines, the glow is too much, the background is repeated, the lines coming from the bottom left are not needed. Its also plain..

Maybe you should look at my previous posts. I wasn't really trying on this one.
Also Im srry that I can't put a floor on the background to make it seem he's standing on it, impossible in my case.
To вαкα●ηєкσ●¢нιι
Well the lines you see at the bottom was a background that I overlaid on the pic. I not only did that for the lines but also to darken the image.
If I didn't do that it will look real faded, just saying.
P.S, I guess I can fix somethings as well.

If you wanted to darken the image, just make a new layer, fill it with black, set it to overlay and set the opacity to w/e you like.. ouo

Yes, I understand the logic of anime/manga. Do you understand the logic of highlights and shadows? How about the logic of logic where having something randomly for no reason whatsoever is not logical and confuses the audience?
"Hmm, why's that thing there? What is that thing? This doesn't make sense to me at all! This is a waste of my time, looking at randomly placed objects. He hasn't even completed the highlights and shadows! Thought and effort: 0."
Get my flo, bro?

Ok now you pissed me off with this comment about my work.
1.) Like I said before, do you want a half green sonic?
2.) Please explain to me what part of my project was randomly placed.
3.) Please explain to me how glowing energy particles coming from the hands confusing the audience. Obviously you never watch sonicX before to understand.
4.) How can you just assume I put 0 thought an effort into this project? Cause I will show what 0 thought and effort is.
In fact, here is one of of my projects with 0 thought and effort.
5.)In your earlier post you said I had no style of my own. I can tell from this that you never even saw any of my previous projects, thus I advise you go look at them before making uncertain assumptions. In fact, two of my works right down on my siggy.
6.) This is why I don't CnC about other ppl's work cause shit like this happens if I do.

Brought this back from one of your earlier posts to prove a point. If you have no experience in digital art at all, why the fuck are you giving this CnC? If you're trying to troll, I can get that. If you're not, then maybe learn something about this stuff first before you give CnC? Would be a waste of a post if you didn't know what you're talking about. Inb4 No, I don't "get your flo bro."
NOW BACK ON TOPIC: To be honest, maybe it's just me, but I can't see the difference between the before and after.
I agree with fade that there's too much of the green glow particles. Both of the hand's are kinda overly bright as a result, unless you were going for that.
I'd have to give a 9/10 here.

Inb4 left hand and left leg. It's not much of a difference, but it does make it look cooler.
