Points and Reputation system added.

Points = You can earn points by posting on the forum.

Reputation = People can like/dislike every post on the forum. Likes will give you +1 reputation. Dislikes will give you -1 reputation

So like what are the points for, the reputation stuff are probably to see if your trusted or not. Right?

for points, you can make them redeemable for prizes. so like if someone has 1000 points they can use those points to get a special item ingame or something. just a thought.
this would boost activity in the forums.



while we're at it, there should be a warning bar of some sort. to discourage stupid posts like spam, double posting, flames, etc.
some sections should give more points than others.

and in order to prevent getting points from really trivial posts like forum games and shit, there should be a section that gives 0 points for each post, and that section is like for spam and forum games and other trivial things.

Not possible unless we are able to link forum accounts to game accounts which will take too much work.
Also, the forum is not hosted by us and we do not have access to the database anyway.

It would probably have to be done manually. a player makes a thread with a request of whatever we put available for points, then we (or admins) take away the points , and give the player the item ingame.
then a mod would put in the comments of the player (-1000 or whatever points) so that points can be taken out of their account.



Orrrr you can make a section where every time someone makes a new thread for a prize, they get -1000 (or whatever) points (but all items would be worth the same). new posts just get 0. this way the points are automatically subtracted, and a mod can post in that thread saying "item given to player" once they give the item ingame.

Well, this will be interesting; you should be able to redeem custom titles for your forum account with the points, just a slight suggestion.

depends on the price we set and how many people actually get on the forum and earn that many posts.
the thread thingy would make the point deductions easy, and giving a player an item and logging the transaction would take 4-5 minutes tops.

This is a Interesting Little Add-On.

Quite and interesting system we have here.
It will be really great to see if the people are good or bad.
