can someone help me out here, I dont know how to make the images smaller with better quality. do i just resize the image?

OT:dude shading is off read tutorials'
one does not simply sprite a sword with multiple random color pallet's like blue yellow green red purple dark blue orange into random mix you call a sprite also I don't see a proper light source I think the blade is where the small spikes on one end of the sword idk i could be wrong more effort and gl :L

Rainbow shading (i'm not saying it isn't allowed but it look wierd). Pillow shading ( mean no light source at all)
Also did you even save the file as PNG? The quality look fuked to me.

The shape looks fine to me. Try making certain parts of it pop out by combining form with shading!

Just cause a part is white, doesn't mean it shouldn't have shading.

The shading got a bit better but the quality is still shitty.

Shading's quite awful honestly, not liking the color palette.

Fix the outline a bit, the 4 things at the bottom isn't a good design to it. Not sharp enough.

I'll probably start a new version after i go to Anime weekend Atlanta tomorrow
