"Online Dating" - D.ChaosMS EX

I'll vote in favor of online dating since it's the harder of the two choices to justify haha.

The idea of love online being an illusion is fallacious. You are interacting with another human being, miles and miles away.

If you are talking to someone on the phone, does that make your conversation an illusion? Was the person you were talking to a hallucination?

If you write to a pen pal, is your interaction with that person a figment of your imagination? Are the thoughts and feelings that you convey to this pen pal less valid than to someone you are talking to face to face with?

Of course not. The only thing you can't do in online interactions is physically touch the person. But you can see them (picture or webcam). you can hear them (mic. webcam.)


you are entitled to your opinion but just know that sometimes an opinion can be based on faulty reasoning.

i must say i agree with ray just because its an online relationship.
don't make it any less real you don't play games to hook up.
you play games to have fun and if your lucky you find someone special,
someone to pass the time and train , talk , slack have fun with.
i find when you are attracted to someones personality and the way they act,
its a stronger then a physical attraction, because you love them for who they are
not what they look like, how much money they have ect. you like them for them,
that's how u get world class super models with dem nurds.
i find its a bond made and one that will last when you like someone for who they are
not what they look like. its a much deeper bond then poppin' a boner when u see a hottie.
those feelings pass if they don't have a good personality and your not attracted to their personality or behaviors. relationships never last when u base it on looks
when you truly like someone you cant really stop how u feel about them
when you find someone you like don't care what they sound like or how they look
if you don't like online relationships don't have them its not your place to say
whats right and whats not if 2 people like each other they are entitled to do what they want based on how they feel you cant really hate just appreciate
be happy for them that they found someone special to talk to and hang with
people play mmpog to meet and mingle with people isn't that the whole point of online games its bound to happen that you find someone you like spending time with more then others and eventually fall for them that cant be helped you don't choose who your heart is attracted to you just attracted i vote yes<3

Yeah online dating can be real, my reason for saying its an illusion is because you cant physically touch the person

i know at least 5-10 people who have met up irl from ms/wow/minecraft dating who got married its kinda weird but idk i dont agree or disagree with this topic

Anyway, this isn't a race of which gets chosen. Just getting information about people's dislike and interests.

I know it's not a race....but when it comes to topics I like playing devil's advocate and debating just for the hell of it. It's a good way to practice reasoning and persuasive skills ;P

To Be Honest, It's okay i guess. Aslong as it's not just random like "L>GF Come FM I pick one" You have to know them alot talk to them with skype Showing pics, For Age Verification ETC. But Cyber sex is just wrong. That's the only thing i don't approve. It's really stupid. Because when people watch it, They get influenced -Some people- And it just spreads like an infection. But altogether online dating is okay if you get to know them and stuff, Not just a random relationship. But "LF>GF" Is just stupid altogether.
