My First Custom Weapon

As u can see this is my first custom weapon. Im still improving on my craft.

I like the glow, but the weapon itself is only just a gradient. If you want to change the color of it the lazy way, you could just change the hue of the original picture to blue. Not bad for your first try, though.

You can't just blank out the image, change the hue of the glow, and put in a lazy gradient and call it an edit. An edit in any case when it comes to a maple sprite should always follow the rules to it. For one, it may nOt seem it, but the Colour count for that is WAY off. If you're gonna do an edit the least you could do is put some damn effort into it.
For this weapon, you could do so much more things to make it an acceptle edit, like:
• Separate hue changes to all parts.
• Turning it into a whole different weapon like a sprite or a sword.
• Or even of you wanted an effect like that, atleast could've went in and did some darkness change, mess with the contrast, so then it looks like you weren't just playing with the damn gradient tool.

I hope the peanut gallery didn't upset you. Here's what it might look like with a blue hue.
If you want, I can post a guide to customizing weapon hue, shading, and the like. I always edit weapons and stuff like this, so if you need help, you know who to ask. (Me, or GFX [In]Sane, if he's willing to help.)
