Unable to play my character

I can log into my account but i cannot play on my character ''Ratatosk''. I made a new character and that worked and i tried logging into Ratatosk again but it wouldn't work it would just send me back to the main menu. On my new character i tried typing @unstuck Ratatosk but it said that Ratatosk was online and that i'd have to disconnect him first..? Can someone help me?
