Can't get into the game

when i try to get into the game i click on the D.ChaosMS
it does:
"We were unable to locate a Maplestory data file on your computer.
Please download the latest client from maplestory.nexon.net"

i did everything right with the install and still i installed 2 times and didn't work -.-
please help

I had this problem too. You just have to disable your anti-virus when you extract the D.ChaosMS files and you should be good to go.

and what if i dont have anti-virus O_O
i just reboted my comupter couple days ago so i don't really have one yet..

Make sure all 5 parts are in the same location because if one part is missing Ex. part 5 (which has maplestory.exe in it) you'll get that error. I TV'ed someone with this problem and it turned out that his part 5 was at a different location so just re-check.

i don't think so.... reinstalled it 2 times
... maybe i will try to redownload all parts again.

nvm i got fixed it ... heres another problem .
when i lvl up i got to 120 then i logged off for like 4 hours ,, i came back on
i'm lvl 30 WHAT THE FUCK?!
NOW I NEED TO LVL AGAIN?! LIKE I WASTED 2 HOURS OF MY LIFE

Do @save after like every 5 levels and spam it when you log off

got back after few sec to check if it worked now i'm LVL 70 O_O
i quit no way man i'm not going to lvl 3 times in a row to 120 thats crazy

Dude, before you log out, do @save, your progress will be saved.

Chill out bro if you're really that untrust-worthy of @save go to CS and exit for 100% save. ;o
