The FAQ for the Beta.

So, I've seen people making threads about all these problems, so before anyone makes a thread exactly about the same thing, I've decided to make a simple FAQ thread. So, read this before you make a thread. PM me if there are any questions that are answered and not put in this thread. (NOTE, these answers are from the knowledge I had read in the forums.)
Also, yes you guys could run into alot of glitches because, this is still a beta. Remember that.
FAQ

Q: Help! It says that I'm missing a certain file.
A: Turn off your anti-virus, and then extract the files again.

Q: @save doesn't work at all, instead rolls me back.
A: The @save command is a 50/50 chance of you to actually save your profile, as it's currently not working as well. MrPimppi suggests that the safest way to save your account is to go into cash shop and leave, although it could sometimes disconnect you. (It's better than a rollback.)

Q: My anti-virus detects a virus within the client files.
A: They're not really viruses, just turn off your anti-virus.

Q: I have voted but not have received my 10k NX reward.
A: There could be several reasons, you were logged in, won't get the rewards right away at times, did not correctly vote. (PM me if you know the real answer, I'm still sketchy about this part)

Q: I opened up the client but ran into an error.
A: Make sure the maplestory file that you have extracted, is within the Nexon folder. Click the windows button>Computer>Nexon> and put in the file. (If you already have an existing file, replace it.)

Q: Why aren't there any place to buy equips in the all in one shop.
A: It's been updated, there should be one by now.

Q: For the samurai class, I can't equip certain daggers.
A: First, get rid of all of your buffs. Second, unequip any daggers that you have equipped. Make sure that you have the required stats to equip the item. Lastly, equip that mofo.

Q: I can't find the custom jobs for Samurai, Angelic Buster, Kaiser, and etc.

Q: The game is very laggy.
A: The entire server sometimes get a lag spike, they do a server restart in order to resolve the problem.

Q: My game FPS is very choppy and low.
A: That's your computer's fault, or it could be lag.

Q: My client shuts down right after using the skill "_____"
A: Some of the skills as if right now are currently bugged, just avoid the skills that crashes your client for now.

Q: What the shiznet? My account got banned after using a certain mech skill.
A: You should first make an ban appeal, located at the justice category of the forum. Then, stop using the skill that banned you because, the mech job is currently glitched and right now is a raging mofo that likes to autoban people. DO NOT USE MECH FOR NOW!

Q: Why do I disconnect after going to the left direction in hair selection?
A: It's a glitch, change your hair color to black and then it should be fixed.

Others

1. We want more channels.
-The server now supports up to 10 channels.

2. We want higher rates.
- The higher the rates, the higher the rates the server is going to get sued and shutdown, also it is already in a good rate.

The private server is ahead of gms already and if the server has very high exp rates, that draws people from gms to here, which would make Nexon lose money and sue this server for that cause.

the reason why you cannot equip daggers is because you need to
reach the requirements for the dagger such as your dex and luck
The equips that give Stats does not count only your AP. After unequip ur current dagger and relog. then u should be able to equip it

Higher rates have never been the cause for a server to get sued. 80% of the servers that got sued are low-mid rates ranging 8-20x exp.

auctully its not becuase your equips your equips do count
its actually the buff that is not allowing you to wear the equips
its a passive buff that adds stats and lets you wear equips 10 lvls above you
the but is actually showing you 10-30 more then you actually have
at times its even more if you already have some stats into a particular stat or more rebirths
all you usually need to do is - your main stat and add to your 2ndary stat
i see some of you may be scratching your heads right not let me give you some exsamples

assassin uses luk as main stat and dex as 2ndary stat
in this case you type @luk -10 and then @dex 10 till you can equip it
you usually have to do it 10-30 ap to equip thats all there is too it

Fixed, and I just wanted to bump this FAQ

the passive skills works for me perfectly i have around 80 dex and with the physical training's it's 150.also i have 2 of this KoC skills that let's you equip items 10 levels above your level and people can equip 20 levels above their level.
