good question.
it would be coded in such a way that if there is no space then the npc says "make some space", since that's usually the reason people do not get their items.

Alright, if you want it to check, don't tell Eric to do it. Because he doesn't know how to and even if he does, he is probably unwilling to do so.

(I thought I added a check if someone had inventory space in the MSI NPCs, guess I was wrong.)
