we could raise more funds and have sales for items and stuff. although, If you really need access to the physical servers just to implement such a program, then I guess there's no point...

So i'm pretty sure they're using LOIC not HOIC because the server is still having issues.
The best way to protect against a LOIC attack is to temporarily shut down and spring back up sporadically.
That way, whatever Computer they have dedicated to it, will burn out without doing any major damage to your server.

Just adding my own insight, don't know if it helps or not.

I've only used the LOIC like once and that was against 9gag, pretty effective in large groups but it makes your computer lag like the infants rolled in molasses.

this would be right if it was just a simple ddos but it is actually on a bot net that changes ip every second. only way to permanently fix this is by buying a $1000 software.
