Vampire(?) Hairstyle
I were looking for a nice haircut matching to the vampire face I 'made'.
I couldn't find what i was looking for, so I decided to create a new haircut from scratch:
It's supposed, that there is only one longer strand of hair.
I never created something maple-related before, so this is my very first attempt doing so and I'm really looking forward for your feedback, since I'm not that expired with pixel-work and maple-style at all.
In my opinion it looks flat, kinda unreal. Is it just me or is it because i used 6/7 very similar colors?
And if 'ThatWoodsGuy' could help me with his opinion, I would love it, since his hairstyles look pretty good.

Too Gradinet, doesn't show hair strands (even though you did it but doesn't show us that), that hair strand showing off bothers me.

Like what Hunter said, your pallet is too gradient. You need to move around the color wheel more. For example, yellow is like a shine for red, and dark desaturated purple would be a shade. It's a really good first attempt. Maybe I'll post some tutorials from MapleMation here to help people. ^^

Re: Vampire(?) Hairstyle
I read through those tutorials. That's my outcomming:
It really looks way better with less colors and having more differnce between them.
Even thought, that I still have a long way to go, to create exactly the haircut I am looking for.
Thanks anyways, you helped me alot! ^o^

I would prefer to use smaller palette and how was said here before make it less gradient.

It's very good for a first attempt.
