But please remember that MapleStory require a black outline, it doesnt look MS-like otherwise.

DAYUM. Quite the skill she has... Just need the border like Alpha said, as well as the light source rule (top left if the character faces left, and vice versa).

The first one looks cute Smile
And as mentioned above add teh border be it black or w/e color you think looks fancy with it.
As for shading, find the light source (top left) and brighten up the area, darken up the hair further from the light source to show a more natural transition
from light to dark. [Basictly just darken areas that are not exposed to the light]
