Noobalicious's GM APP

(Before you read, sorry about this new account for the forum. I forgot my forum username from a while back when I first made my ingame & forum account).

Why do you wish to be a GM: First of all, I ADORE this server. Though I've only been playing quite a bit for about a week or two, I love the people here and have been recommending it to some old server friends of mine. Secondly, there's a lot of administration/active work that GMs could do that I feel I can assist with, if not do myself. There's quite a few ksers, hackers, and flamers that I note quite a bit that the server could be better without (Or maybe we could just teach them a lesson!). I have some experience with what it's like to be a GM and understand the rules quite nicely and I think I can do a thorough and good job. Finally, I'm a really fun guy. I have a great attitude and a very calm mind as well (At least I've been told that in real life!). That's up to you to judge. I think it would be great if you gave me a try. The server could benefit from me and I could really help bring out its potential.

How long have you played D.ChaosMS EX: Around 2 weeks on Noobalicious (I joined a LONG time back though on "Wait," but suddenly became very busy over summer and didn't get a lot of chances to play).

Any GM experience: I was a Donor GM at a server (AllureMS) that unfortunately got shut down due to the owner not being able to keep up with the price of maintaining it. I was in charge of holding events and helping all users with getting settled in the server and jailing or banning rule violaters. I also tinkered with wz edits; however, the server shut down amidst my work and I was unable to help out.

Are you able to explain how to play to a noob: Definitely. I struggled through my first day and went through what every other noob went through. I'm a very quick learner and know the game inside out now. I often get questions or requests and I'm more than willing to join in or help.

How can you help the server: I will take care of organizing small events, promote a better server environment, bring in my fun experiences, try to manage players (I won't be entirely able to help out every single person, but I'll try my best to answer requests or keep them up to date).

Other*: I want to say that despite my being slightly new to the server, I have a very mature attitude about gaming and rules, though I still have a lot of fun and like to brighten up people. Also, I'm 18 and quite an educated guy - Perfect 4.0 GPA in high school & currently almost a perfect GPA in college (3.97). I was the lead news editor for my school's paper (My school had around 3000 students) and managed a team of about 20 reporters and managers, so I have leadership experience to back me up. I'm currently in Computer Science as well in college. I'm also quite a creative person. I used to play minecraft and created a lot of crazy things. Here's two examples:

I want to use my creativity and my general demeanor to help with this server!

What can you code*: Java for sure, Visual Basic, C/C++ (<learning this). I am quite willing to learn anything else as the position may require or you may need, so let me know! I'm more than happy to learn anything and everything.

Can you GFX*: I sure can, though it's been a while since I've worked with Photoshop, Illustrator, Logo editors, and 8-bit graphics editors (For a retro feel. I used one to create graphics from scratch for a java game I created in high school).


I hope you seriously consider me for GM. I think I will be a really great addition to the staff team. And if not, I'll keep applying until I get a chance to contribute as a staff member & active GM to this server!
