Problem, not sure if this should happen

k so, my friend has this problem where after he extracted all thę files and has the 5 parts and the client in the folder, when he runs dchaos a screen pops up that usually pops up for GMS when there is a patch update, does he have to click 'Play' like he doesn't know what to do, is this an error or does this usually happen. The Client and 5 parts are in one folder and does he have to download the normal v 112.4 too or does he only need the 5 parts and the client?

1 delete {make sure its deleted}
2 restart
3 reinstall maplestory dont launch{no need update}
4 if you havent already downloaded the 5 RaR install files do it and extract
they can be found here

5 copy / drag the while folder into your C:\nexon folder {make sure its the whole maple story folder not just the files}
6 enjoy
2 restart

My friend don't have a C:Nexon folder and do I need mssetupv112?

Just make a Nexon folder in the C:\ Directory, and stick the MS folder in that one. Easy.

it didnt work for me i needed to run a setup to make it work

no you dont need v112 any version will do just dont update
your comp most likely just needs the directery to be registered
if its ghey and anal like mine im lucky i had a v112 already =3 but any should work fine
the files dont matter its the folder you need since my method you relpace it all anyways
