Insane's Message to the Staff

First off, let me ask all of you GMs out there:
What the fuck have you been doing in my absence? Over the past few days there has been non-stop complaints about the staff as a whole. I am deeply concerned about where this is head. Moreover to the fact I bet some of you won't even understand or bother to read what I am about to say.

I know it is not my job to evaluate or judge any of you but seriously, most of you guys are starting to make disappoint me. I understand some of you guys are busy with your personal life etc. but if you are in game, you better do your fucking job right. If you can not handle a situation PLEASE at least have the courtesy to inform some of us on the staff chat on SKYPE. Some of you just ignore player cries for help and just shove, abuse and ignore them. Also don't give me that crap about players spamming you for shit and that you can't handle all of them at once. WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK BEING OUT OF HIDE AND REVEALING YOUR PRESENCE TO EVERYONE WOULD CAUSE?
You have hide for a reason. Use it and help players individually instead of seeing a clusterfuck of spam and just ignore everyone. Also you are a fucking GM. Did you think your life in D.Chaos will be all sugary and filled with cupcakes? It is fucking job, so do your part and do it right.

There are even times none of you are online and on the times you are online, most of you are fucking camping in CHNL 1 HENESYS. There are like 9 other channels for you to take care of. What the fuck are you all doing in 1 place?

Oh and before you make a comment about "oh this is Open beta, it will get better" bullshit, this is already a fucking open game. Get your act together. This is no longer a fucking test any more.

Now lets talk about how some of you even got to be GMs. First off I never once considered age to be factor in your maturity but now I feel that I have been wrong. The majority of the staff can't even comprehend and handle situations with people spamming them. Don't you know how to even do a little crowd control?
And really? Are you guys really that sensitive?

For instance:
1. If they insult you, jail em. Continue to do so, Ban em.
2. If they fail to cooperate in your events, warn them. Further disruptions, then boot them out of it. If they start to bitch at you then follow up point 1.
3. If they request for items, tell them you don't give out shit.
4. And lastly if you don't want to fucking get swarmed by players, stay in hide for fuck's sake. Stop blaming everyone else for your own stupidity.

Next as far as server access goes I really feel its becoming out of hand. I don't see the need that almost every new coder have access to it. Ever since that happened, some GM accounts have been messed with and even then we have people impersonating GMs and getting their powers. I am really starting to feel that this staff has no order of security. Sure I understand you are here to add in source updates but please, stop fucking thinking so highly of yourselves. Your cocky attitude towards some of the GMs is making me sick and honestly I don't even know who the fuck some of you are.

Since server access is pretty much like a free-for-all thing now, what is the point of the GM levels now? I even heard rumours that some GMs making themselves owner/admin level on multiple accounts. It is sickening me to the extent that I feel I am just wasting my efforts here.

Which brings me to my next point. Why the fuck must I work hard for the server and be the same level as those who doesn't do as much as me?
Really? Must I really put in effort when most of you don't even give a fuck? Also stop giving me your sappy bullshit about having possession of illegal items in your inventory just to collect them. I have seen you wear them when an owner or me is not around so seriously stop it. It is fucking annoying.

You guys have seriously killed off my motivation to work on any more content.

Finally do any of you coders have the courtesy to add a list of updates of commands for us to see? Most of us are being left in the dark in terms of what commands work and what are the actual commands of it. How the fuck do you expect the GMs to know what they are capable off if you don't even tell them? As of current I don't even know what works and what doesn't any more.

Honestly even if D.Chaos may have all those wonderful sugary content, bad management and staff will eventually kill the server off. So to you GMs, get your fucking act together and do your fucking job. And some of you, PLEASE STOP FUCKING ABUSING DC,SEDUCE, DEBUFF COMMANDS ON PLAYERS. IT AIN'T FUCKING FUNNY.

I honostly couldn't agree more on that i think alpha needs to re-think his staff choice or atleast remind them ot do their job...

I agree,you sir deserve a golden medal.since we upgraded some of them are slacking off (and don't tell me you don't).what most of the gm's do today:
Slack in henesys ch1,use giant potions,ignore players and abuse power (seducing,killing).

i know this is a hard pill to swallow coming from another staff member but if mike is saying it theres gotta be some form of truth coming from this but seriously he has a point being a gm isnt suppose to be all fun and games its a job and should be treated as one with the same RESPONSIBILITIES if you cant handle it demote yourself and play as a normal player then you can slack in henny all you want no one will swarm you no one will spam you no one will make these kinds of threads problem solved this is of course just a suggestion so please dont rage when i say this and act as though i just said somthing appauling and reduckulious{yes i said reduckulious it sounds funnier then ridiculous} if you're a gardener for a living you dont go to work and just smell the flowers dont get me wrong sometimes it's ok to smell the flowers and take time off and relax but relax for too long and you get fired so just do what your hired to do

The staff is getting more shitty than ever, don't get me wrong i wasn't insult you or anything.
I am not the one who asking for help from any GM since i can take care of myself, but to the new players they don't understand how the server work AND THAT's WHY YOU GMs SUPPOSE TO HELP THEM BLEND IN.
Even the Players are better than YOU! Even Though we don't have Special Power we still try and help the other with the problem like "Why HPQ warp you to Henesys?. Why You can't keep your skills after rb??....ETC". We Players REPLY To those words without afraid that there troll and rude people.
You Choose Apply for GM Then YOU MUST KNOW What do you do! Rather than slacking in the FUCKING Henesys! WHY DON"T YOU GO AROUND HT! PQs OR Any hot training spot To see if there a HACKER IN IT!
DO YOUR JOB PROPERLY THEN MAYBE THE SERVER WILL GO RANK 1 AND EVERYBODY WILL BE HAPPY!

No Intention of Flaming or insulting are in here. I just spoke the truth about how i feel about the staff.

All of you make a completely valid point GM is a job itself not something to play around with and (kill,seduce) people with if you can't handle it resign and you can talk and sit around in henesys all you want. until then Alpha should rethink the staff or at least keep a close eye on them.

how bout demoting inactive GMs and checking to see if they are doing their jobs right every once in a while if they're not...Demote HAMMER!!!!

Or maybe even some GM req like having enough rep and post in forums so u know players like them and that they're helpful dont just random promote plz

what dose forum rep have to do with being active and helpful in game
if that was the case then they would just become a forum mob nothing else
that isnt the point of this post this post is about getting the gms that are slacking
to do their job not about demoting or how to pick the right people for gm positions

Couldn't agree with you anymore. I'm not saying that ALL the GMs are slacking off and chatting along and abusing their power, but in my view at the moment, most of you are. With all due respect, I think the staff needs a "revamp". (Of some sort)

In v83, GMs had less responsibility in a way, as the game was developed and players were just RBing / FM whoring. GMs had to just keep checking around for hackers/help people out/host events. But now that the game has been upgraded to v112, GMs have to be more active then ever. New players WILL need help from the more experienced on the game. There WILL be more hackers, as people have been unbanned, and some are bound to make the same mistake.

A couple days back, I noticed a massive flood of people asking questions of "how 2 play" "i get d/c how 2 fix!!11" "plz help me, any1" on Xat. Yes there are people that can't follow a simple set of instructions, and it's frustrating, but the job of a GM is not for fun. I spent about 50 minutes are so, giving out instructions on chat and via TeamViewer. I noticed that there were 2 moderators on the Xat Chat. But they were AFK, and when I went in game, I saw that they were chatting leisurely around in Henesys.

Seriously. This has to change or the quality of the server will shit down.

The only GM's that i've seen being helpfull we're Mel (totally helpfull :O)

i totally agree with your statement. the community GMs applied so they can help around the community yet they do close to shit. Now I can not say that about all the GMs because actually some are very helpful. But as for the coders and GFXers who sit there thinking they dont have to do anything its ridiculous. If they are in a highly populated area they should have the common sense to know some person is going to bug them for help just because they have {GFX} or {GM} in their name. They should not think just because they help with server internally they do not have to help in game

....Guys you say we are bad staff so you can be a gm (Insane i think 2 of the comments people post is because they think it is true) i think most of them is so people get demoted and then they can become gm.

It's disgusting that you don't think that our critique of the work of GMs is credible due to your inability to take criticism. Not everyone wants to be a GM, some of us can recognize the hard work that GMs actually have to put up with. DChaos isn't always a game for GMs, it's a fucking job. And what do you do at a job? You work. Not everybody wants to be a GM. We have the right to have an opinion about you and how you do your job. If you're not fucking doing it right, we won't be happy. That's the way the world works. If I don't like the president, I certainly won't become the president by saying I don't like how he does his job. I'm voicing my opinion in the hopes of making a change. If you can't accept that some people just aren't happy with how you do your job, you don't deserve your title and the privileges associated with it.

If you're that aware of our right to having an opinion, then why are you so adamantly against us stating it without it having some sort of ulterior meaning?
I respect your title and I'm sure you received it through legitimate, well-deserved means, but some people still cannot do their job. While you may do yours, others may not. My apologies to you if I came off as if I was attacking you personally, it's just frustrating to see that this issue is being ignored due to a potential threat to someone's position.

I do agree that some people are just agreeing to the fact that gm's aren't doing their off and shit, just cause they want them to be demoted, so that they can become GM'S.But, I have seen gm's just sitting in henesys. Either way, I think demoting isn't going to be the solution , since it won't make much help , because the next person will just as well not help.
Players should just help as much as they can , even without having to be a GM.
