Character.wz File is Corrupt? Empty Character.wz File is Corrupt?

My GF keeps getting that error, allready downloaded the game 3 times, have the new client from MediaFire.
The error shows "Character.wz file is corrupt" I tried uploading my character.wz and didn't worked as well.
She's using windows 7 and the client is in nexon/maplestory folder.

Any idea on how to fix that?

Disable the Anti-Virus, extract the files again. That should do the trick. You should also add the client to the exceptions if you want the Anti-Virus enabled afterwards.

Also, wrong section.
