that blue effect doesn't really make sense to me. other than that, i don't find it it sloppy, it's actually pretty fluid. me likey Very Happy

The blue effect is the hitting effect.

yeah, it is, but i guess it looks funny to me because when the animation plays, there's no hit making contact; actually, the guy who's attacking is pulling back. plus said effect doesn't really fit as a hitting effect
