It was for the announcement on rev. 8.1 being released. Toon's post was edited 15hours after the thread was created. But of course, there will be immature people celebrating the new rev. releases since they are very big and enjoyable.

well if it's really a big deal, admins can see the latest moderator actions on the admin panel. like
"raystormx edited posted x at 12:34am" etc.
i doubt it's a hacker.
also, mods can edit anyone's post and not leave a trace, unless they modiify the "reason for editing" textbox.
