Can i advance more than 1 occupation?

the title says it all,its annoying when you are out of items and u want to be good occupation then you advance noobie occupation and when u have the sources you cant advance the good one D:.some players say that you cant get 2 occupation.anyways i heard about trollmaster occupation that it's gonna be hard to get it and you need to advance all occupations that's why i am asking it
