Ichigo's Zangetsu

Dunno made this while I was bored.-edited-(again)

Tested it on a random Sprite:
(removed due to the sword being too big, tested a bunch of times)

This is the first custom weapon I made(made not edited nor copied).
Some constructive criticism will be nice

Tbh, I think it looks a lil odd. Also seems a little big...Maybe I should just put it in a sheath while standing, walking, etc.

Ps: The hair on the sprite was made by me. Outline looks shitty since I randomly made it.

The handle is too big, and the outline is strange. Maybe it's supposed to be shading? Either way, there's that and the fact that the zangetsu is a 2H, so the sprite is holding it the wrong way too.

That needs to be fixed.

The hair looks weird, The sword too, but overall it's nice

if you shrink it down a bit and make the handle thinner, it will be more proportionate.

fix the front bang on your hair, and it would look good enough for me to use ingame actually.
The details on the blade itself need to be redone. you can take a look at any bleach games as a reference I guess. use some more colors, I think maple uses up to 32 (for the weapon itself). could be wrong on that tho.

it looks like you smeared the white part. try drawing in the shading. it may be tedious but you'll get better results and it will look more like an in game item.

Lol Yeah sorry about that I got lazy, but this time I did manually.

I really like your attitude. you don't get discouraged when we give you CnC and you seriously make an effort to improve your work. You've probably got it in you to become a great spriter if you keep practicing your skills

Maybe knives or insane or barkey can help you more with the details of the weapon itself, but yes it does keep looking better each time.

The dark part on the top right of the blade should actually be a continuing entrail of the lighting at the tip. Make sure the entrail gets duller as it goes away from the light source. Looking good, though.

You should fix the handle.
Otherwise good job.

Oh and some people stated the handle needs work.
I was wondering what exactly needs work the size,color,shading?

light source needs to be fixed if you're gonna make it go across the sword like that, also fix the size of the blade make it a bit more skinnier but keep that fatness it gives off,also make it longer and also at the blade (near the handle) << that fix it please i get an ache when i see stuff like that, also save the file as .png to make where people (like me) can point out the stuff easyer

This is the most helpul CnC I seen anyone give on these forums in a while, even more so than some of our current GFX staff lol.

Thanx for the cnc guys they are really helpful, but I will probably fix it later this week since time is a problem. (cant edit now using diff comp)
