That hair...
Okay, first of all, Mukuro's hair is much thinner then that. I'd
suggest using a thinner style to edit off from so it's more similar.
Also, when you look at a real picture of him, notice how you don't
seen each individual group of his hair, but mainly shine marks, and the upper middle root.
You have to try to mimic those properties, but in a maple-sprite formated way, so it doesn't
look so sloppy. -cough-.
Umm, oh, and make sure that you are able to have a nice view for both eyes, since
his bangs are split so they can both be seen. He actually prefers to hide his Rokudō rinne the most.

mk so I watched Katekyo Hitman reborn THREE times, So yeah
Mukuro's hair is blue-ish purple not just PURE purple, His eye flame is purple not red and it goes ^^ not sideways. and the Hair looks like its all bundles up together, mukuro has some loose hair in the front,oh and you mustn't forget the zigzag going down in between the center of his hair.
