Disconnecting after PIC:

Anti-Virus problem (Detected Virus in DChaos non-hamachi client)
-> First of all, make sure you recover your client by finding your antivirus's virus vault. Add DChaosMS to your exceptions list to avoid this message. There are no security issues with the client. It's simply the antivirus thinking the executable is dangerous. Here's an example of how to add it to exceptions for Avast Antivirus: Scroll down to my post
Firewall problem :
-> Download the non hamachi client here.
error code : 38 (Reached the end of the file.) :
-> It's a common dc error, just re-open your client (As of 9/28/11: A large number of players have been receiving this error code after entering the PIC. As of now... this error hasn't been fixed/no fix has been found.)
error code : -2147467259 (Unspecified error) :
-> If you get it when changing your hair, change your hair colour to back first. Make sure the custom hair color actually exists. Possibly also for eyes. Make sure your eyes are black as well or the eye color actually exists (For custom eyes).
error code : -2147287038 (Unknown error 0x80030002) :
-> If you dont have the custom files, download it follow this guide
error code : -2147467261 (Invalid Pointer) :
-> Most probably you got a bugged item, if you have one, do @clearinv <equip/use/setup/etc/cash>
Account doesn't exist/deleted :
-> Most probably you are banned, ask a GM to verify.
Error FAQ:

Q: My str is negative!
A: Do @resetstr
Q: Why is my total AP negative?
A: It only shows up like that. Your stats are still all there! Try @<stat>, where stat is str, luk, dex, int.
Q: Why do my stats reset after I rebirth and then job advance?
A: There's a small error with the @job that causes all stats to reset. Use the job advancer in @dchaos to retain your stats, if you're tired of using @<stat> again and again.
Q: How do i reset my stats
A: Type in the following: @resetstr/@resetdex/@resetint/@resetluk
Q: How do i max my skills
A: Type @maxskills
Q: How do i job advance?
A: Type @job
Q: What is the jobs available
A: Use @joblist. It will show you which job contains the cover

Q: How does the rebirthing system work?
A: You rebirth, just like with other servers, at 200 (INCLUDING CYGNUS!). There are three rebirth options you can use:- @rebirtha: Aran
- @rebirthe: Explorer
- @rebirthc: Cygnus
Q: I thought you had Demon Slayer and other cool classes! WHERE ARE THEY? >:d
A: Go to the job covers list at the top of this page. It'll show you what to become to get those sick, awesome skills that you're looking for!
Q: What's the currency here?
A: The main currency here is Chickens. 1 chicken is equivalent to 1 billion mesos! One way to get mesos quickly is to go to Juoga city through VIP cab in fm and kill the monsters (they do a little less than 30k damage, haha). They drop leaves. You can convert 50 leaves to 1 chicken.- 1 billion mesos = 1 chicken
- 50 maple leaves = 1 chiken
Q: Are there Max Stat Items and how do they work?
A: There are indeed MSI's (They're called SRBs here). You can get a variety; Here's how:- Get 120,000 total stats (Around 120 rebirths). This gives you rings ONLY - NX and normal. The npc is in fm room 1
- Donate and you can get MSI rewards (Equipment, non-rings)
- GM Equips - Use Chickens. 2000 for hat, 5000 for top. 9000 for bottom. They're all 30k stats EACH.
Q: PVP, you say?
A: Yep, there's PVP alright. Go to the fm and check out the statue in the third row (from bottom) of fm rooms. You can't miss it!
Q: Soooo where's the all in one shop?
A: Closer than you think. The all in one shop can be accessed through "@dchaos" or simply by typing "@allinone" (Look up all the commands by clicking on the "Commands link" above. Note: There's a Cash items category that has some of the common stuff and megaphones. It's quite useful! You can ALSO get the pet equips/food/guidebook from here.
Q: How do I get NX?
A: At this time, you may vote and get 15k nx + voting points (The npc for this has yet to be established)
Q: Can I get any free COOL NX gear?
A: I thought you'd never ask! In the fm, talk to the npcs on the top platform (all the way). Explore them a bit! Here's a quick look at some, but you'll have to find out who!:- NX Items from the latest JMS, including custom-made ones!
- Free chairs. Yes, free chairs. And I mean it gives you a random one out of the entire arsenal of chairs. Yeah you saw that right.
- VIP items. You'll have to buy these for 1 bil.
- Job items. Pretty cheap. 1 mil - 5 mil.
- MOUNTS! This npc has almost all cash mounts for 5 mil. You can get the hog/saddle from the all-in-one shop. One note: make sure you equip these cash ones and then equip the hog/saddle.
- Jr. GM Hat. Show it off if you feel like it
It costs one chicken.
Q: How do I go to different maps easily?
A: You can use @spinel, the classic, easy command to go to maps. Usually, people stick around at henesys or the fm. Also, in the fm, there is a very special NPC. The Rock Paper Scissors Admin will warp you to supercool custom maps designed by the owners and GFX. The npc is located on an alien ship towards the left of the fm map.
Q: Where do I get a smiling mask and what is it?
A: You can get one from going to JOUGA CITY by using the VIP cab at the top-right in the fm. It has +700 all stats (Give or take 1 or 2). The boss at the last map of the chain drops it (The boss only spawns every 1 hour!). This item is also pretty popular for beginners, so ask a veteran player to give you one for free if you can't get to the boss!
Q: What are common training areas?
A: You can start with the chimney/lower fm maps for your first rb. And then, move on to the bosses in the fm for later levels. Check out the list below!

A: Ahhh here we go:- 1- SRB NPCs
- 2-- Mushroom Bosses (mushmom, zombie, blue)
- 3--- Zakum Spawn
- 4---- Ergoth (<Recommended boss for first few rbs)
- 5----- Papalatus (<Longterm rebirthing boss)
- 6------ Bigfoot (<Longterm rebirthing boss)
- 7- Scarlion (<Drops helm) and Targar (<Stingy bastard doesn't drop a helmet)
- 8-- Crimsonwood PQ bosses
- 9--- Nothing
- 10---- Job bosses (<They drop a LOT of money per kill)
- 11----- Silver Slimes
- 12------ Papa Pixie
- 13- Nothing
- 14-- Jr. Balrog
- 15--- Crimson Balrog (CROG)
- 16---- Amoria PQ Balrog
- 17----- Captain Latanica (<Good boss to kill after a few rbs)
- 18-21- Nothing. YET.
Q: If I need additional help, who can I ask?
A: You can always ask me, Noobalicious, if I'm online. The easiest thing to do is to get megaphones and request for help! The GM community here is quite nice so go for it! Of course, there's always these forums! So go at it!
Q: WHAT'S THAT? I CAN BUG A GM TO SPAWN ME STUFF?
A: NO, NO, NO! You've got it all wrong! Once in a while, if you're missing your favorite nx item, feel free to ask a GM. Beware: Though they're super nice, they get very, very tired of spawning stuff for people. They want to be normal players. Don't bug them! Instead, hang out with them and be cool! This server can use a lot more awesome, kind players like you!
Q: Who do I thank for all of the work done on the server?
A: Check out the staff members list up there. The owners, alpha and toon, put in a lot of work. More importantly, there have been several coders who've helped out with the private server efforts. Finally, thank all the players and yourself for making this server truly special for everyone! (Don't forget those cool donors too who put in the money to fund this server!)

1. Why are there 2 Threads?
2. Now there is 2 guides, 50% of it contains the same thing, the other 50% are totally different things. ._. So why make it difficult for the noobies??

1) 2 threads so that 1 can be for discussion and the other can be used more as an error report.
2) I can make it so that the error only has the error stuff & etc... But I just left it in there. The one in errors will probably get ignored so i don't see it as a big deal.
I already answered your other painstaking questions, so please let me make one thing clear: I used your guide's links and cleaned up the links (UCP for example), plus added 2. Then, for game faqs, I spent a while checking out the game again and asking people if they had questions about it. <--- time consuming. For the FAQs, I took the errors you had and added 3 more. And finally, I put in a contributions section so people who helped out were on the main page and the credit didn't flow to anyone specific.
Can we be done now? Lol ._.

finally found a site where I could host a large file for free. I packed my entire DchaosMS ex v83 folder in a .rar file and compressed it to about 1.8GB. just give this link to the newbies. there is no way that anyone can fuck this up.
