Yes I have completed my first drawing on the computer.

Before (paper and pencil)
First computer drawing Pictur11

Focus on the drawing not me, I know I look beautiful after a good sleep.
Yeah sorry for the bad quality I used my webcam to take this pic.

After (computer)
First computer drawing Stasis10

Like I said this is my very first drawing I did on the computer so try not to hate too much.

For a first timer, that's actually 10000000x better than mine..
I can see you used a mouse, since there's no pressure in it..
The proportion of the body is fine.. atm, but the shoulders should come up a little more, and the ears seem too big..
Other than that, it's really good..

Yeah, I went through hell trying to get the arms and the hair decent.

As for the shoulders, I see what you mean about pulling them up a bit.
Looking at it now, if I were to remove the headband from around his neck, it seem as though he has a long tube for neck which would look quite weird.

You still troll me anytime, man art class don't teach you shit (excuse the language), all we do is write, write, write.
Everything must be learned from one's experience.

Yeah, I'm getting at tablet when my birthday comes around.

Simply to put. No Shading. Even if it was your first time. You shouldn't say no to shading just because it looks ugly. Just try. First time man. No Worries.

It probably depends on what program he used..
Like if he used Paint.Net or MS Paint, it would be impossible to shade, but if he used Paint tool SAI or Photoshop, shading would probably be added.
Btw, @RyRy, if you want the cracked version of paint tool SAI, pm me.

And RyRy, I have art classes too Razz
But, they don't teach me about animes and shit, cause there would be no point in learning it...
And I bet the only reason you write, write, write is because you're learning the proprtions and all the foreground/backgound stuff like that.
The only way I improved, was by reading loads of tutorials and watching speedpaints on youtube. (And of course DeviantART)

Hehe, I did use paint tool sai to create this. I was just simply to lazy to spent another week adding shading to it.

This actually took me 2-3hours to do in total, but you know, with school and stuff, have to put my head in those books.

And Destiny, I get where you coming from about have to write, however, some of my friends that had that class last year said that they don't start actually doing stuff till like 3-4 months before school is over.

Maybe I'm wrong, maybe I'm not, but one thing I'm sure of is that my teacher is a complete psycho. She talks to herself at here desk and we be like wtf is she saying, no she don't have bluetooth.

And also, when she lectures she talk about how she has fun at home. (*aka Masturbation*)
I mean really keep that to yourself, no one wants to here that from a teacher.
Unless she's in her 20s and is hot as fuck (excuse the language).

you should shade your stuff, but more important, DO NOT LEAVE WHITE SPOTS.
that's a very important rule if you're drawing.
the hair seems a bit too big, but that might be just me.

Tip-Use ALOT of layers.. Even for shading, add a new layer..
Usualy, my drawings end up having about 10-100 layers...
and , you can leave white spaces, but only for bg.. color it in, even if it's a white t-shirt.. if you made it a transparent bg, the shirt will be trans. too
