tl;dr - Admins are biased in their decisions and selection of beta applicants.
Some of you may consider this (reasonable) rage:
I took the liberty of investigating the applicants and the people accepted into the closed beta and I've got a ew complaints.
I believe there is some form of favoritism going on within the beta.
Example one:

Why do I think I am eligible to join the closed beta of V112 for Dchaos?
I am a dedicated donor of the server. I'm a very active person ( I play Dchaos at least 2 hours a day.) I love this server very much so I want to find and report bugs in the new version to make it even better. Thanks.

This was a person's response who was admitted into the beta. Seems short and unelaborative, don't ya think? If a person wanted to gain access to the beta and REALLY help with the bugs would you not think they would elaborate on their points? Also, compared to the dedication of other players, 2 hours seems small, or insignificant.
Example two:

"Why do you think you are eligible to join us in CLOSED BETA?"

l think that l am eligible to join you in Closed Beta, because:
- l am an active person, l play for about 3 - 6 hours+ a day.
- l am good at figuring out things on my own.
- l am very good at finding bugs/glitches.
- And l'm a hard worker.

l've played D.Chaos MS long enough for about a year, but there was a month-long wipe so l guess l've been playing for a total of 11 months. l love this server and l want to contribute to it in any way l can. l will also do my duty as a beta tester to report all bugs/glitches l come across.

This quote was from a player that did NOT get into the beta test. This player seems to have decently well rounded application. Stating their strengths, and other key points such as how long they were on the server, their work ethic, and how they will do their job as a beta tester.

Now, you, the hard working player, need to look at both applications and consider which person you might choose.
Consider these things:
Elaboration of application
Explaining how they will accomplish the job
What they have done to deserve to test

Now, make your decision, and think to yourself why some applications such as the first one may be accepted, BUT one that seems to have greater detail are excluded from the beta. I thank you for hearing my plea, my struggle, to ensure Admins REMAIN UNBIASED about their choices.

That almost sounds malicious. Why would you need to "watch" the owners?

They really don't give a fuck. The bottom line comes down to who they can trust and that is usually correlated with who they know well.

Its the same reason the media watches presidents and other officials, to make sure they are doing their job well, effectively, and most importantly in an unbiased manner.

And isn't it funny that those people they know well are usually people whom they have a certain affinity or liking to? Players try to get close with GM's/Admins, but they are usually shooed away. The lucky few who penetrate that wall become people they know, like, and (oddly enough) trust after a conversation or two. My point still stands, the bias held by Admins will never be eradicated.

I don't think anyone was disagreeing with your point, however it's quite a moot one. Even if we had an application process, bias will not be eliminated.

Man i can't wait for Hayato (Samurai) to come out as a new job. He's one of the JMS exclusive jobs and I think he makes GMS's Jett look like horse shit. I'm gonna rebirth as quick as I can just to become a Samurai lol.
