To Vote Abusers and Potential Vote Abusers

Alright this topic is directed to players who vote abuse and for players who may vote abuse in the future. The D.Chaos team and dedicated players have caught an astonishing amount of vote abusers which is ridiculous there's no need for it. The main reason why I'm posting this topic is because when we catch people we tend to get the same excuses such as: "I didn't know it was vote abusing" or "I didn't know it was against the rules" and my personal favorite "I only did it because I thought it would help the server!".
So I'm going to clear up the misconceptions and hopefully reduce the amount of vote abusers by informing you of what vote abusing is and the consequences of vote abusing as well as how we catch abusers.

What is Vote Abusing?

Vote Abusing is the method in which a person votes for the server more then 2 times in less then 12 hours.
When you vote you may only vote 2 times every 12 hours for a total of 4 times every 24 hours.

How do you catch vote abusers?

Catching vote abusers is fairly simple. All we have to do is !spy the person of suspicion and data such as date of account creation and how many vote points the person has shows us if the person abused the vote point system. Ex: Player has created account 4-12-2012. Vote points: 400 < because it is impossible to get 400 vote points when your account is only a few days old this confirms the player is a vote abuser. Players can use @spy player to also check vote points and report to GM if they think its suspicious.

Consequences of Vote Abusing.

The result of catching a confirmed vote abuser is simply a ban. The ban can be appealed but you must have a solid resolve to never vote abuse again. If a vote abuser is unbanned their votes will be cleared. If a vote abuser re-offends they will be permanently banned without the option to appeal.

Q: But Crit doesn't voting more help the server?

A: Voting twice every 12 hours helps the server. Anything more then that isn't counted on Gtop or other private server sites.

Q: What if vote abusers use all the vote points before getting caught?

A: Voting also gives you nx cash therefor if your a new player and have uh 400m nx in two days then
you can be banned for vote abusing.

Q: What if we buy vote items off other players?

A: The truth is there's not much we can do if you buy it off other players. But we do encourage you to report if someone is selling 3 WRS item's or something along the lines like that.

yeah. i think it shows either the current date and time, or the day the system got implemented.

So I can ban A known VP Abuser without Alpha's permission?

Correct me if im wrong, but ill wipe out the VP abusers that were reported in the Player Report Section.
If I cant then forget the idea.

You must file a player report and in the status put banned. Also you must have Absolute proof that they vote abused. Even if they have high amounts of VP's doesn't mean they Vote abused they could have saved it up.

What if they have 1m+ NX, nor prepayed or maplepoints. Or NX.. What ever one is not used by the rewards from killing monsters.

Is this also considered a VP abuser even if he has only 4 VP?

Well if they admit it get a screeny and right up a report and ban.

Check the ban appeal, does that mean I can ban him?

Actually, voting only counts once per 24 hours for GTOP, it's just 12 hours allows for more accurate votes.
