Banned for non intetional dupping

I was at Khaos. Got a party and BeckiiVu(or something like that) said: Would you like Khaos Mask? We said :YES! He warped us and killed the boss. I talked to the NPC and it gave me 2 Khaos Mask. But it wasn't my fault! Its a bug!
Now my IP address is banned.
What can I do with 2 Khaos Masks? It's UNTRADEABLE!
Please, unban me! I really like this server

I'm not a Gamemaster myself, so I can't really judge. I think something went wrong witht the security / databse, since we got the problems with the dedi. Or you might just have done something bad in the past that got you banned.

i think this guy should be unbanned.

it's not like you can do anything with a 2nd mask lol.
they disapppear when you drop em and they're untradeable....

many players and donors have been warping to alpha or staying in a party while someone kills alpha so that everyone gets warped to the mask map. if this guy is banned because of the mask, he should be unbanned.

if, however, he's banned for other reasons, then nvm.

and juun, it's absolutely ridiculous to think he got banned because of the dedi....don't talk about things you don't know.

I shouldn't talk about things I don't know? I bet I know much more about this argument than you do. Since the dedi is actually fucked up and we run on old settings, I do think it is actually possible.

that is not a very good explanation.

it would make more sense if he was banned before the rollback then was able to play when it happened, then we rolled back to before the rollback
(which actually happened lol) therefore he would be back to being banned.

but he said he was new, so I doubt that's the problem.

also, idgaf about MySQL, and idgaf if you know about it.

Maybe that is your opinion Raystorm, but to refer to your first sentence. The dedi is actually not working at all. But we should stop this arguing becouse it's not relevant to the topic.

if you seriously don't know why or how he's banned, then just stop. you are not a GM, this does not concern you at all.

If it doesn't concern me, and like any other non-gm player, lock this section for us to read it. Or do not allow us to post. In any case, you stated that I might not know why or how he is banned. Well actually I do. As again I stated becouse of the dedi being fucked up, roll-back mistakes or even MySQL invaled inquiry.

I know i will get warned for this but jun, please don't talk about things u don't know. Yes the dedi is messing up but that in no way means that the dedi itself can ban someone. Even if the sql is messed it, it wont happen. I've run enough servers to know that this is impossible. We have ALPHA, willi and mac who wouldn't let the sql get fucked up anyways.

That's why we should have a "Ban Appeal" section.
OT: There's no reason for him to be banned, I don't see why someone would ban him for that, he could simply drop it and it'd be okay. There's no way for the Dedi to ban you unless you were unbanned once. So I'm guessing that he did something else.

As I already stated I wanted to stop talking about this, this will be my last comment about it.
In the MySQL data you can inform if an account is granted acces or not, if that would be messed up someone could be banned with no reason.
For example you roll-back while you are stil running on another MySQL database, they'll melt together. Things will mess-up.
Anyways, closing this conversation since I suddenly got warned...
