Disapeared? Empty Disapeared?

Okay so I dropped a Thunder edge in the GM room and I had one of my other characters pick it up. So then I got dced and when I logged back in it was gone from both of the inventories? Any ideas what happened?

Obviously it deleted o-o
Since it wasn't saved on botch characters and after D/C it disapeared.
