Help please! >_<

(Sorry if this isn't the right place to put this!) Well I just joined. I can't even get onto the screen/game. Cause whenever I click on the (non hamachi) client, this appears: " error code : - 2147467259 (Unspecific error) ". I re-downloaded the client, and beta files (7.9) about 3 times now (sometimes even the v83). I'm sure I have all the files and I extracted everything the right way.
While I was on the chat I tried asking people what to do but only a few tried to help many times.
-One of them told me to run in as admin...but that didn't work.
- Someone told me to get CCleaner but I had no idea how to use that (sorry i'm such an idiot)

So what should I do?


Oh and I may know why...probably not thought. So like I downloaded a game. It messed up the private server that was already on my computer. It kept saying
"Can't find screen mode for -insert file/program here- " or something like that. So I deleted the game, hoping it would let me go on to the server again. But it didn't.

okay, so you've downloaded v83, installed in a folder, then put all the beta files in that folder, and you put your dchaos non-hamachi client in that folder, and ran it, and it still doesn't work...there should be a troubleshooting guide somewhere around the forum

Lolno. That link is just a guide. Try reading other posts about the error you have.
